This range reminds me of my blue 'Holly Hobbie' doll when I was young but only more pastels and pink.  There are lovely outline stamps to colour with your Copics for cards or make pretty accents for your scrapbook page. Again, don't just think little girls for this range...look further to new babies (regardless of gender) and springtime or garden photographs.  I've got a few of the pale blue sky and spring sage background papers for some more 'baby at the hospital' photos. This range is certainly worth a closer look and is proving popular!

Monster Mania

At some stage, your little darling won't be the apple of your eye or the spring in your step and if you are anything like me, the camera can be very handy in capturing those less than perfect moments.  Like the time Master J got into the flour on the bench or sprinkled the rice bubbles all over the counter and floor; or perhaps the time when he bawled like a newborn calf when I didn't jump to and push his cozy coupe car along (he's lucky he still has one!). So don't let these moment pass you by, scrapbook everyday times. This set makes it easy to do those moments, along with halloween or playtime photos.  I have a thing about spiders...don't like them at all in real life but apparently I LOVE them on scrapbooking product and can't get enough!  I have about 30+ sets for cave photos and only 3 series of actual cave photos!  hahaha! Still won't stop me from getting some cute, glittery purple web paper though...Cat x

This is a very jaunty combination of rose-salmon and jade-martini green and should have probably been named 'Delight' or 'Good Humour'!  Whenever I see this range, it makes me smile.  I am sure you have a picture or two that warms your heart whenever you see it.  Again, Jen Allyson has created a multi-use range for My Mind's Eye that is suitable for a wide range of topics.  I'm thinking Firends or Grandfather (Pop used to type a lot...) or do a page of a younger me...with dreams of being a ballet dancer.  You'll love the glittered accents and accessories to match. Fasten your seatbelts and get ready to zoom, zoom, zoom!  This is a great transport range with a distinctly vintage feel to it that is not just travel or about the destination; rather the getting there.  I really like the colours of ruby red, turquoise blue, amber yellow, orange topaz and light charcoal as they set the vintage tone quite well. My favourite piece is the transparency sheet with ruby red bi-planes all over it; I don't have a particular plan...just like it lots!  Kaisercraft have also continued on with their diecut packs and new 12x12 sticker sheets; both of which are very useful on pages or projects. So sweet and so romantic is this new set by Kaisercraft.  Featuring cupids, butterflies, open roses, forget-me not's, bird cages and cameo's; this range is sure to set your romantic heart a flutter.  I love the pastel pink and coral tones to this set with the delicate darker touches of blues, greens and pinks.  I still have heaps of photos to scrap (major understatement!) and have some hospital photos with Master J in mind. What a great range of chirpy summer colours with tangerine, grass, tangello, turquoise and sky all vying for your attention.  I am continually drawn to the feature floral print, so I'd best be putting some aside for me!  This set also has the very useful 6x6 pads which are of course great for cards but also equally as great for journalling blocks or patterned strips/pieces as the scale has been reduced.

Travel Light

Ever been travelling?  Been on a road trip?  Yes?, then this range is for you.  We R Memory Keepers have combined some really interesting travel inspired pages with distance charts, route sign markets, post marks, luggage tags and more.  The colours are quite versatile by being bright but not glaring with a vast array of options.  I love the garnet red, and peridot greens in this set but there are also lots of useful colours with ice topaz blue, sapphire blue, citrine yellow and jet black. I have been lucky enough to have travelled along four states by road for four weeks in the best car ever; a huge Chevrolet Surburban 4WD in 2008.  It was a wonderful trip and we saw so many different things.  I'm totally inspired by this range with Larissa Albernaz's layouts being the deal clincher and I cannot wait to get some pages on the go!

This range SHOUTS 'scrap your heritage' with perfectly styled vintage icons and classic images. I love their choice of colour with deep burgundy, darkest teal, forest green and inky black on a backdrop of burnt cream and vanilla brown. I am scrapbooking my grandfather (Pop) as I can just see him with this paper, it suits my memories of this good man amazingly! I am thinking of a page that is totally filled with clocks and timepieces as he used to collect clocks and loved to be on time.

What a gorgeous range with shimmery, intense red glitter effects; it is just divine! Aside from the wonderful glittering, this too is a versatile range that will suit vintage to current dated photos.  I love the rich red, olive green and soft mocha combinations.  There's accessories to match too! Who wouldn't want some of this in their scrapbook?  I know I'm putting some aside for me this week!

A simple yet charming springtime range with lots of coordinates for perfect layouts or charismatic cards. Although this range has flowers and such, it's equally suitable for baby boy layouts or kids pages, particularly if the 'B' sides are used.  This range features lovely floral prints and geometric patterns in delicate colours such as robin's egg blue, buttercup yellow, mandarin, leafy green, apple red, cocoa brown and deep lake blue.  Check out this great range with its matching 'friends'!  I love the 6x6 paper pads with reduced pattern sizes which are simply PERFECT for cards!  There's also plenty of doo-dads and wot-nots to jazz things up with!

An incredibly cute range from Kaisercraft with adorable baby farmyard animals and groovy friends.  There is even a tractor OFTP project, begging to be made in time for Santa to gift. I'm partial to quite a few of these designs as they will be very good for layouts on our family trip to Caversham Wildlife Park's farmyard area (very nice surprise!) and to the Kelmscott Show. Master J just loved the baby animals, especially feeding the kids and lambs.

Vintage Blue

Fall in love with this wonderful Renaissance Reminiscent range!  Vintage Blue has taken all those scrolled architectural elements and wallpaper, then relaunced it as a versatile scrapbooking set that can be used for multiple themes.  It has lots of different shades of blue to work with plus dashes of yellow and mustard; one of this season's hottest colour combinations.  I'm thinking of scrapping something featuring my two 'boys' with this set.

More romance but with a pink twist! I don't know why I am thinking of ballerinas when I see this set, it must be all those beautiful designs that's doing it.  Love the pretty pinks and aquas; just the right combination to produce projects that are too gorgeous to give away.  I challenge you to do a boy's layout with some of these papers and accents; look past the pink...if you can!

Quite the daring combination of colours; aqua, daffodil yellow, purple pansy and a dash of sage green.  Still, it's a very chipper set that makes me smile when I see it.  Not sure what I'll scrap but I like the look of the aqua floral design and those teeny tiny letters.

There's something to the main floral design in this range that I particularly like.  Maybe it's the black, teal, mauve, sage and blush combination? or maybe it's the floral pattern itself?  Either way, this is a terrific range that will appeal to most with the lovely main designs and equally useful 'B' sides; the pattern on the other side to the main print.  Come in-store this week to see Kylie's wedding layout, it has my new favourite paper on it and she's done a wonderful job!

Here's another Halloween range that you can use for lots of other topics to scrap rather than just Halloween.  I'm partial to the clock transparency with various sized black clocks to one side and white ones on the other; sometime you don't want a whole sheet of the same thing. (note: not showing for some reason on Kaiser's website...).  There are some interesting and unusual pattern inclusions such as dominoes, cuckoo clocks, roman numerals and a damask design along with scratchy twigs for the spooky feel.  Colours are a deep royal purple, dark pumpkin orange, inky black and startling white.

A lovely muted Christmas range with vintage holiday accents like filigree snowflakes, cuddly Santa's, and whimsical Christmas stockings. Those colours include a bright cherry red which is then muted by a deep mulled wine, light sky blue, pale sage green, light buttercup yellow and silver frost.  I can see those black and white photos of Nan and Pop's first Christmas in Australia suiting these very well...that was back in the 1960's.

This set uses a calming combination of blues and flowery coral tones to portray a relaxing seaside experience. After a wonderful family holiday last year to via Esperance and Albany, I'm particularly drawn to this beach inspired set. I particularly love the starfish/shell worded sheet and the thickness of the papers. I've gotten four sheets of the mermaid design; just to cut out and do some 3D layering.

Striking colours and unusual designs are used in this set convey the strong emotion of 'devotion'. The poppy red patterns feature throughout, along with butterflies, an Asian geisha girl, a version of the 18th century Japanese artist Hokusai's wave and subtle willow dinnerware watermark. The inclusion of the delicate sage green colour softens the designs and lends a romantic feel. This set does deserve closer inspection to see all the finer details and appreciate its artistry. Amanda will wax lyrical about that wave...just ask!

A whimsical, slightly romantic feel to this range with iconic bluebirds, burgundy roses, a dash of sage green and lashings of cream. Something about this range reminds me of shabby, vintage white furniture, lots of lovely lace and a rosy counterpane on a sunny, spring morning. Pity I don't have that happening in my home but that doesn't stop me dreaming! Since scrapbooking can be mental therapy, a recharge to the system or a simple momentary escape; I love how the same set can be used with different themes and images, so open to interpretation and your own touch. I'm not sure whether to scrapbook my own childhood or put together some pages with a fresh, Master J.  Loving this one!

Ever been to Hong Kong?  This versatile set nicely sums up the colourful and noisy city quite well. Though it's not just about that destination, the contrasting patterns and textural designs fit so well. From black to cream, add rouge, lavender, fern, turquoise and a touch of tangerine. The strong bamboo design and Asian characters will be a paper that suits so many different layouts, from the panda's at the zoo to the art gallery and beyond. Kylie has the kimono clad ladies feature page in mind for some wonderful cards, I know they will be eye-catching indeed!

With the official December countdown just 58 days away, it's time to get started on my own family advent calendar.
